TP-Link’s new Wi-Fi business products promise better connectivity in tough weather conditions

TP-Link has launched two new outdoor/indoor Wi-Fi access points for business users.

The AC1350 (EAP225) is a wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Ceiling Mount Access Point, while the AC1200 (EAP225 Outdoor) is a wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Indoor/Outdoor Access Point. Both promise to provide better Wi-Fi in tough weather conditions.

TP-Link boasts that its latest offers are “must haves” for organisations such as schools, universities, business complexes, offices and coworking spaces that require a seamless and secure Wi-Fi connection.

The ceiling mounted business class access points AC1350 (EAP225) and AC1200 (EAP225 Outdoor) provide organisations, education and event spaces with seamless wireless roaming experience avoiding the inconvenience of reconnecting to a stronger Wi-Fi signal to remain productive.

Both business products provide a single method of authentication for Wi-Fi guests via a captive portal. TP-Link says this captive portal is extremely secure, as it requires users to either agree to an acceptable use policy, or enter a user ID and password.

Another key feature of the EAP units is that they can work seamlessly together, which not only benefits the user but also the network administrators, as they can manage all devices from a single console by using the free software controller (Omada).

“In a world of ultimate connectivity, we need Wi-Fi in every aspect of our lives – especially during work or when studying,” explained the UK country manager of TP-Link, Will Liu.

“Both of these devices are perfectly suited to businesses and educational institutions allowing employees/students to have an uninterrupted and seamless Wi-Fi connection – whether inside or outside. Wi-Fi users never have to worry about dipping in and out of calls again and can even enjoy taking calls in the complex garden.”

TP-Link offers a unique, free network site survey service and will provide recommendations to guarantee a high speed and secure Wi-Fi connection for all environments. Find out more here.
