Scanner manufacturer PFU (EMEA) Limited, a Fujitsu company, has announced that as of September 2018, it has shipped five million of its ScanSnap scanners globally.

First introduced in 2001, the ScanSnap range delivers smart, one touch technology and intuitive design to drive personal productivity – helping people to automate time-consuming tasks with market-leading technology that has simplicity at its core.

“Since the launch of our ScanSnap range, we’ve seen incredible demand from across the world, in multiple vertical markets, as businesses and home users continue to seek innovative technology that can transform their scanning experience and bring efficiency to their lives both in and out of the office,” said Mike Nelson, Senior Vice President, PFU (EMEA) Limited.

PFU will be celebrating this significant milestone at the annual Fujitsu World Forum in Munich, Germany.

The event is one of the largest IT shows of its kind in Europe and will bring together business and IT leaders from around the world to join subject matter experts from Fujitsu and its partners to discuss how innovative digital solutions can benefit both business and society.
