Samsung Android Go smartphone images leaked online

Images of Samsung’s first Android Go smartphone have been leaked to SamMobile, showing that the new device won’t be running stock Android.

Pictures sent from one of the publications sources appear to show that the new smartphone will have the Go version of Google’s official apps installed over Samsung’s Experience UX.

The images show a number of alleged features, including the reintroduction of the Smart Manager app that came preloaded on Samsung devices until 2016, as well as the presence of on-screen navigation keys.

The smartphone will also omit an Infinity display and run Android 8.1 – the minimum for Android Go devices.

While there’s no news yet of a launch date for the Android Go smartphone, its rumoured name is the Galaxy J2 Core, so look out of that name for future updates.
