“Thanks to everyone for sharing their feedback on PlayStation VR pre-orders! It’s clear that there’s a lot of interest from many of you to secure the PlayStation VR core system, and I’m happy to share that we’ve decided to make it available for pre-order on Tuesday, March 29, at 7:00 a.m. PT at participating retailers,” reads the blog.
The PS VR features a 5.7-inch OLED with 1920 x RGB x 1080 (960 x RGB x 1080 per eye). The headset also comes with a 100 degrees field of view, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Sony CEO Andrew House revealed at GDC 2016 that the firm wants to make the VR experience accessible. He also revealed that the company chose a late lunch date to accommodate demand.
