Channel news: Exertis, Tech Data and Northamber announce new vendor partnerships

EXERTIS BECOMES SOLE DISTRIBUTOR FOR SAMSUNG INTERACTIVE E-BOARDS

Exertis has been appointed as Samsung’s exclusive distribution partner for its interactive large format displays.

The agreement sees Exertis and Samsung partner in a major initiative to grow the corporate and education markets, and Exertis spearhead a dedicated UK-wide demonstration team.

Ian Neale, Exertis’ business manager for visual products, stated: “Samsung’s interactive large format display is a real game-changer. It’s a complete, PC free, ‘out-of-the-box’ interactive solution that requires no extra hardware or cables, allows full on-screen wireless collaboration and opens up a world of new possibilities in the corporate market for more efficient and productive meetings. 

“This is a key opportunity for reseller partners to gain an advantage in the rapidly growing corporate and public sector markets, whilst not forgetting the considerable replacement interactive whiteboard opportunity in education.”

NORTHAMBER BECOMES DISTRIBUTOR PARTNER FOR GENEE

Genee World has announced Northamber PLC as its new distribution partner. Northamber will hold stock and actively promote all of Genee’s interactive hardware, including its G-Touch touchscreen range for classrooms.

The partnership will see both companies working together to provide resellers with the highest level of sales support and logistics, with improved delivery times and an added level of customer support.

Genee marketing manager Steve Parker commented: “As a manufacturer of interactive classroom solutions, Genee have worked incredibly hard to develop a comprehensive education offering that includes both software and hardware.

“Our market share has grown year on year over the past four years, and 2016 is the perfect time for us to take the next step and partner with a strong, supportive distribution partner. Northamber have great vision within their education division, and we are confident they will provide the Genee brand with the perfect platform to grow.”

In addition to Genee’s education offering Northamber will hold stock of Genee’s G-Tab hand held tablets, non-interactive professional monitors and digital signage options.

TECH DATA PARTNERS WITH HP FINANCIAL SERVICES

Tech Data has announced a new SMB subscription solution for printing technology with HP Financial Services (HPFS).

The new offer will help SMB customers gain access to HP LaserJet print technology with monthly payments.

The subscription service will include a bundled solution including installation, warranty and related start-up costs. Through HPFS, SMBs will be able to pay in monthly installments, with simplified planning, acquisition and replacement of HP LaserJet technology every three years.

“SMBs require greater flexibility in how they acquire and manage printing technology in order to stay agile in today’s fast-moving market,” said Mike Leary, Print Business Development Executive at Tech Data.

“Deploying solutions that are simple, fast and tailored to an SMB can be a challenge. The HP Subscription solution provides SMBs with the ability to invest in innovation and maintain a competitive edge.”

SYNAXON PARTNERS WITH ANDERS+KERN

Reseller services group Synaxon UK and audio visual distributor Anders+Kern (A+K) have formed a new partnership giving members access to the company’s exclusive range of digital signage, projectors, room booking solutions and its renowned technical services. 

John Gorman, marketing manager at A+K, said: “More businesses are making every-day use of audio visual solutions to enable conferencing and collaboration and to improve visitor and user experiences. This is a growing opportunity for IT resellers to sell the solutions we offer to their existing customer base.

“That’s something we can help them to do very effectively and we are looking forward to working with Synaxon and its members to explore the many new opportunities that we believe are out there, just waiting to be taken.”

ENTANET SCOOPS TWO TROPHIES AT COMMS DEALER AWARDS

Wholesale communications provider Entanet scooped two trophies at this year’s Comms Dealer Sales and Marketing Awards.

The company won the Vendor Channel Account Team of the Year and Vendor Channel Marketing Team of the Year categories in recognition of their outstanding achievements, which have helped the business to recruit 181 new partners and achieve significant revenue growth, with turnover reaching £32 million in 2015.

SOPHOS UNVEILS MSP CONNECT PARTNER PROGRAMME

Sophos has announced MSP Connect, a new partner program that ‘enhances the capabilities of Managed Service Providers (MSPs) by simplifying the complexities of managing multiple security solutions across multiple customers’.

The new program is also designed to help MSPs enhance their operational efficiency and profitability.
