Brother UK has announced an exclusive sponsorship deal to become talkSPORT’s official Business Technology Partner for Euro 2016.

The sponsorship will see a Brother UK advertising campaign running on air, online and in print for the duration of the tournament.

Brother is one of talkSPORT’s six category exclusive Euro 2016 partners, and will feature in the station’s regular Business Bulletins, the Daily Round Up and Sports Bulletins alongside discussion of the day’s results.

The agreement aims to capitalise on increased listeners throughout June and July, and follows a successful sponsorship of talkSPORT’s Fifa World Cup Brazil coverage in summer 2014.

The deal continues this year’s summer of sport at Brother UK, having recently been named as the results, printing and imaging partner for the Pearl Izumi Tour, Aviva Woman’s Tour and Tour of Great Britain cycling events.

“The tournament provides a great opportunity to reach both new and existing customers who we know will be tuning in for the football coverage,” commented Mike Anderson, head of marketing at Brother UK.

“As the world's largest dedicated sports radio station, past activity with talkSPORT has driven really strong results and we’re confident that this campaign will deliver for both us and our channel partners.”

Brother UK’s MD, Phil Jones, was amongst those celebrated in the Queen’s Birthday Honours earlier this month.

Jones was awarded an MBE in recognition of his services to business.

“To be recognised by Her Majesty the Queen is wonderful. I’m passionate about business as a force for good in people’s lives and in our local communities. This is why I spend time sharing any knowledge gained and encouraging other entrepreneurs and businesspeople. Helping other businesses helps Brother UK too. We work hard to ensure that we take on the very best practice that we learn from others,” said Jones.
