Several resellers and IT providers have made it into the Sunday Times’ list of the 100 most profitable privately owned businesses in the UK.
The Profit Track 100 includes online retailer The Hut Group at number six, MSP Annodata at number 24, IT services provider Claranet at number 56, IT consultancy Blue Chip at number 97 and IT security software developer Avecto at number 98.
The annual Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table, now in its 16th year, ranks Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits over their latest three years of available accounts.
To qualify, companies have to be registered in the UK and be independent, unquoted and ultimate holding companies.
