YoYoTech signals reseller intentions

YoYoTech has signalled that it is preparing to move into the reseller space with the launch of its bundle configuration service.

The service allows users to configure their own unique bundles, with YoYoTech's owner CK suggesting that it is as relevant to independent PC retailers as it is to consumers themselves.

"When the end-user walks into your store they often ask for bundle deals, now you can make your own bundle," CK said, speaking to Hexus. "There's nobody in the marketplace offering this kind of flexibility on bundle deals."

"We're not distinguishing between small system builders and consumers because a lot of retailers are already using our website to quote customers," he added.

"Because they get all the components from one source, they save money on delivery and sometimes distributors may not know what enthusiasts want to purchase."

When asked what makes the service different to other similar services like Dell's online configurator, CK said: "Transparency is the key. Everything is linked to live stock data, including when stock will arrive. I don't think that taking pre-orders without an arrival date is the right thing to do."
