Steel Security was developed by Bullguard in cooperation with Steel Series, a leading manufacturer of innovative professional gaming gear.

BullGuard provided the technical expertise and Steel Series put its extensive knowledge of the gaming market and of gamers needs in the mix.

Steel Security automatically moves into 'game mode' every time a user launches a supported online game. This is to ensure there are no firewall issues or warning messages every time they change game servers.

In this mode, the application also uses minimal system resources, reduces system scans to a minimum and halts auto-updating of virus definitions.
