Western Digital has launched its NAStravaganza UK programme, which enables end users to buy NAS system bundles via a number of resellers.
The programme will run from January 20th until February 20th along with NAS manufacturers Synology, QNAP, Dlink, Buffalo, Drobo, Netgear, Zyxel as well as WD.
Users will be able to buy bundles incorporating WD Red and WD Red Pro NAS line of SATA hard drives, through reseller partners including Ebuyer, Dabs, Insight, Broadband Buyer, Misco and Overclockers.
Jermaine Campbell, sales manager for Northern Europe at WD, said: “This is a great opportunity for end users to buy quality, good value, NAS systems. The drives and chassis have all been compatibility tested in the WD FIT Laboratory.”
The WD Red hard drive has been specially designed for home and small office systems with one to eight drive bays. The WD Red Pro is more for medium to large business environments supporting eight to 16 bay NAS systems.
Ted Tang, sales manager of the European business division, commented: “QNAP has joined this campaign because we want to create more easy-to-install bundle choices for all our resellers and users. We hope that our reseller customers will see the benefits of this NAStravaganza offer.”
