Amazon launches Cloud Drive in UK
Having made its debut in the US last year, Amazon has brought its storage locker service to the UK, offering 5GB of free storage.
Those needing a bit more space can gain access to 20GB of data for £6 per year or 1TB of space for an annual £320.
Guild Wars 2 connection errors
On day one of Guild Wars 2’s head-start release, the game ran into connectivity problems, with European gamers in particular reporting firewall and similar error codes.
Apple awarded $1bn in damages in Samsung patent trial
As the Apple vs Samsung lawsuit came to a close, the jury decided Samsung had infringed on a number of Apple’s designs. The US company has been awarded $1bn in damages.
Raspberry Pi offers MPEG-2 license
Raspberry Pi has landed MPEG-2 and VC-1 decoding through personal licenses. For $3.16, Raspberry Pi owners can purchase an individual MPEG-2 for each board. Rights to use VC-s standard codec can also be purchased for $1.58.
ME3 Leviathan DLC trailer unveiled
A new trailer for the upcoming Mass Effect 3 DLC Leviathan has been released.
Featuring new planets and star systems, the add-on content sees Shepard pursuing rumours of a mysterious being said to be capable of defeating the Reapers.
