Lenovo will be live streaming an event on October 29th/30th called #betterway.
In what appears to be a tablet announcement, the event will be hosted by actor Ashton Kutcher and feature music from Hunter Hunted.
As well as a series of cheesy pictures of Kutcher grinning near Lenovo signs, the firm has released a series of short videos throughout October showing various attempts to create holders, stands and extra power sources for tablets, including hot glue and magnets, Velcro and balancing a tablet up against a dog.
One doesn’t have to use too much imagination to get what the firm is hinting at. There will most definitely be a tablet of some sort.
It seems incredibly likely it will have some sort of cover with an innovative stand that can clamp or stick itself onto surfaces.
The ‘extension cords’ video also suggest the case/cover will be able to charge the tablet.
Whatever form the new device and its accessories take, you’ll be able to watch the below live stream of #betterway from Tuesday 29th October 7pm (PT), 10pm (EST), which works out as 3am on Wednesday October 30th in the UK.

Kutcher, who recently starred as Steve Jobs in a biopic of the Apple co-founder, is not the first celebrity to be snapped up by a tech firm to help launch a product. Alicia Keys was announced as BlackBerry’s creative director when the firm launched BB10, and HTC got Robert Downy Jr on board to make their range of smartphones look cooler.
