Ads feature actors who mimic Apple Geniuses within an Apple store replica

VIDEO: Samsung mocks Apple’s live streaming issues with new ads

The competitive war between Samsung and Apple wages on, with Samsung releasing a series of ads poking fun at Apple’s live streaming issues.

During the reveal of the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and Apple Watch, Apple faced a series of production struggles, including multiple music tracks being played over one another, which Samsung has decided to mock.

The six separate ads, dubbed ‘It Doesn’t Take A Genius’, feature two actors dressed similarly to Apple Geniuses in a room that looks like an Apple Store, who begin to mimic some of the issues Apple faced during the live streaming.

The first ad, for example, notes how the live stream for Apple’s event cut out for some viewers, while also experiencing production problems such as two songs playing at once.

Throughout the series of ads, Samsung also continues to showcase its range of Galaxy devices and how they differentiate from the iPhone.

The sixth video takes a swipe at the new Apple Phone and ends with the tagline, ‘The Next Big Thing is Already Here’, before cutting to a shut of the Samsung Gear smartwatch.

This is not the first time Samsung has poked fun at Apple, after releasing a poster campaign that littered airports, promoting the Galaxy’s S5 Ultra Power Saving Mode, ridiculing the iPhone’s battery life.
