Original game sold 200,000 copies in its first year

VIDEO: Fez 2 announced at E3

Polytron has confirmed that a sequel to the puzzle adventure game is on the way.

The original Fez was released on Xbox Live Arcade in April 2012 and sold over 200,000 copies in its first year. This was after a development period of almost five years.

The title has won numerous awards including Eurogamer’s Game of the Year. The later stages of its development were featured in last year’s documentary Indie Game: The Movie.

The title arrived on PC on May 1st 2013.

No further information has been given away so far, but fingers crossed it doesn’t take another five years before we see it released.

The trailer reveals barely anything, but why not check it out anyway!
