The Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC) has revealed the winners of its EMEA Rising Stars Awards.
The ceremony recognises tech companies with exceptional sales growth through European distributors over the year.
This year’s event took place last week during the 2015 GTDC Summit EMEA conference at the Hilton Amsterdam.
Tim Curran, CEO of GTDC, said: "Their amazing growth in Europe is yet another proof point that technology distribution is at the centre of a global value chain, providing the best route to market for reaching partners and customers serving businesses of all sizes."
Winners were selected in five revenue categories based on their sales growth after the past year, as tracked by analyst Context SalesWatch Distribution Panel.
Dell bagged the Gold Rising Star award based on its sales growth of 500 million euros and above, while Lenovo and Apple scooped the Silver and Bronze award, respectively.
Other winners on the night included Synology, TP-Link, Huawei and Crucial.
Howard Davies, CEO of Context: added "IT distribution continues to act as a vital enabler of new technology adoption and Context is pleased to be able to recognize the fresh brands that have put in the work in the channel to be successful."
