Valve’s Gabe Newell has confirmed that the software developer is working on a new game engine.
According to T3, Newell made the revelation when talking to a gathering of supporters in celebration of his 50th birthday.
“We’ve been working on new engine stuff for a while,” he said, before adding, “We’re just waiting for a game to roll it out with.”
Looks like it won’t be the long-awaited Half Life 3 then…
