The UK monitor market has shown an increase of more than 18 per cent during Q2 2014, according to analyst Context.
Western Europe has also shown an increase of more than 11 per cent during Q2 2014 compared to the same time last year.
However, Context revealed that some Eastern European monitor markets have witnessed a lower demand due to consumer and customer uncertainty, but that the overall European market is slightly growing.
AOC and MMD, license partner for Philips monitors, reported they grew by more than four percent in the European market compared to the same period last year.
Paul Butler, regional sales director of AOC and MMD, said: ”Our flexible strategy pays off again. In Western Europe we outperformed the market by seven percent, in Eastern Europe by more than eight percent.
“With innovations we recently announced, like Nvidia G-sync monitors for the gaming segment, we demonstrate once again our innovation strategy.”
