Gaming headset vendor Turtle Beach has revealed the expected UK price and release date of its upcoming Z60 headset that boasts fresh surround sound technology.
The device – which has what Turtle Beach claims to be ‘PC gaming’s largest speakers’ at 60mm – was shown off to attendees at PCR Boot Camp last week.
The Z60 features ‘DTS Headphone X’ surround sound technology that promises increased depth of sound compared to the usual Dolby surround sound.
Turtle Beach is aiming to launch the Z60 headset during August or September this year, with an expected retail price of £99.
Scott Wood and Wayne Friday from Turtle Beach ran through the product’s features during a breakout session and allowed retailers to test out the device at the exhibition.
Turtle Beach’s preferred distributors are Exertis Gem and Exertis Micro-P.
