PCR has grown its Retail Advisory Board with the addition of Toys "R" Us, Novatech and Shop Direct.
Will Fletcher (pictured right), technology buyer for Toys "R" Us, who looks after tablets, computing, vision and audio, has signed up, as has Shop Direct's head of buying for technology John Church (pictured left), who is responsible for buying across very.co.uk, isme.com, littlewoods.com, kandco.com and woolworths.co.uk.
System Builder, IT provider and etailer Novatech has also joined the PCR Advisory Board, including MD David Furby, head of purchasing Daryl Farmer and head of marketing Tim LeRoy.
The new members will be questioned on the latest tech trends and news within the channel each month, along with other buyers and senior execs across different retail and etail chains and trade organisations.
PCR's Retail Advisory Board was set up in late 2012 and has grown to some 23 members. These include buyers for national retailers such as Dixons Retail's Dean Kramer and Ebuyer's Jonpaul Warren, as well as independents like PC Pal's Jat Mann and Utopia's Craig Hume, as well as system builders like James Gorbold from Scan Computers, and trade organisations including Phylip Morgan from Network Group.
