Toshiba has unveiled its first ever fitness tracker, the WERAM1100.
While the name might not be as catchy as other fitness trackers on the market, Toshiba’s device has a feature that sets it apart from a number of others – it only needs charging every two weeks.
Measuring steps taken, calories burned and sleep statistics, the WERAM1100 can automatically switch between activity modes.
“An integrated accelerometer enables the WERAM1100 to estimate physical activities, such as steps taken, distance travelled and calories burned. The fitness tracker can also measure sleep states and patterns and hours of sleep per day,” explained Toshiba.
The fitness tracker supports both Android and iOS devices and is available in black, blue, grey and pink.
The WERAM1100 fitness tracker has launched today into the Japanese market and is available to preorder now, with shipping commencing on August 20th. Unfortunately, no information on worldwide availability has been released yet.
