Toshiba has announced the REGZA WL series at IFA 2010, the company's first entry into the 3D television category.
Launched to coincide with the availability of commercial 3D TV content in the UK, Toshiba said the range has been designed to offer the very best home cinema experience and will be available in in 102cm (40”), 117cm (46”), and 140cm (55”) sizes.
The REGZA WL768 series has integrated Wi-Fi connectivity and applications for YouTube and BBC iPlayer provide a range of online content. Toshiba said the "stunning exterior" was designed in collaboration with Danish designers Jacob Jensen Design.
The 2.89cm thick range also has 4x HDMI, 2x USB (supporting DivX HD, MKV, JPEG, MP3), 1xSCART(FUll),1xSCART (AV input), component video, Ccomposite video with proprietary CI+ REGZA-Link (HDMI CEC) and Instaport.
