T-Mobile revealed some further details on the LG-made G-Slate including dual rear cameras to shoot 3D pictures and video.
The T-Mobile G-Slate was previously announced at the CES show in January, a device understood to be a 10-inch LG-made Android Honeycomb-powered tablet. It seems the device is actually a smaller 8.9-inch device.
The G-Slate will be equipped with three cameras in total, one forward facing 2-megapixel camera and two rear-facing 5-megapixel cameras which can be used to capture 3D stills and 720 high definition video.
Despite an Nvidia dual-core 1GHz Tegra chipset, the G-Slate is apparently not equipped with a 3D display which means that viewing of 3D images needs colour filtered glasses with the old-style colour stereograms.
The G-Slide will, however, support 3D video via the HDMI output for viewing on a 3D television. Other specs include 32GB of internal memory and a built in gyroscope and accelerometer.
