Tech firms recognised in Top 100 Global Innovators list

Brother, Intel, Microsoft and Toshiba are just some of the tech firms listed among the 2013 Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Innovators.

Other tech giants listed include Ericcson, AMD, Apple, BlackBerry, Canon, Fujitsu, Google, IBM, NEC, Philips, Samsung, SanDisk, Sony, Siemens, Symantec and Xerox.

Thomson Reuters says it’s the "proprietary program that recognises the 100 most innovative companies in the world, according to a series of patent-related metrics that get to the essence of what it means to be truly innovative".

“The Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Innovators once again prove that they are the companies driving growth, creating jobs, and pioneering new products and services,” said David Brown, managing director at Thomson Reuters IP Solutions.
