Helps resellers learn about and demo advanced enterprise solutions to customers

Azlan, Tech Data’s enterprise infrastructure, data centre and cloud business unit, has opened a Business Solutions Centre (BSC) at the company’s Heathrow location.

The centre is available for resellers to use, both to learn about and to demonstrate advanced enterprise solutions to customers. The facilities are also available for customers to use remotely from their own location.

This new facility extends on the resources that were previously available and forms the cornerstone of Azlan’s BSC Network, which links the Heathrow centre with similar resources in France, the Netherlands and Sweden.

As well as hardware and software, the Azlan BSC provides access to mobile and client solutions offered by Tech Data Mobile, and audiovisual solutions from Maverick. 

Demonstrations will be delivered by Azlan specialists and technical consultants. It can be branded with partner logos and also those of their end user, if required. 

There are also also training rooms with Azlan consultants made available to provide classroom-based and hands-on training.

There are eight APC Infrastruxure racks within the data centre itself. A separate and external storage resource provides significant capacity to create and store popular technology combinations, so that any of its consultants can quickly reconstruct them when required. Plus, the resources available in the other three centres in the Azlan BSC Network will be available via a private WAN.

A 100Gbps connection is being installed at Heathrow to ensure there is adequate bandwidth to support live demos.

The Azlan Business Solutions Centre at Heathrow is a few minutes away from the M4, M40 and M25.
