Target's ShopTalk hits the road offering free sales, marketing and customer service workshops

Target Components is bringing its ShopTalk business advice service to independent IT resellers around the Thames area.

In March, the distributor will deliver two free intensive one-day workshops spanning sales, marketing and customer service.

The sessions will be led by John Coulter, shoptalk’s Small Business adviser and key presenter at Target’s annual Open Days.

“The workshops at our West Yorkshire offices have always been well attended. Many people make journeys well over 200 miles to attend, but our location can be a barrier to others, so we’re taking the workshops to them,” said Coulter.

“We’ve distilled the best from our successful ‘Winning New Business’ and ‘Get the Customers You Deserve’ seminars into one demanding session.”

19 local businesses from the Thame area are already booked to attend. Limited places are still available on the March workshops and Target plans to stage further events around the country in future.
