Dealer services group Synaxon UK has partnered with backup, disaster recovery and virtualisation software provider NetJapan.
NetJapan's products include ActiveImage Protector, which features data de-duplication technology, 'high data compression ratios and fast backup and recovery speeds'. It is available for Microsoft Hyper-V, Virtual and Cloud environments, physical and virtual Windows and Linux servers as well as Windows SBS, Essentials and Foundation servers. An IT Pro Edition is also available for IT technicians.
The company also has vmGuardian - an agent-less backup and disaster recovery solution for VMware ESXi. Features include smart sector backup of only used sectors, inline data de-duplication across single or multiple virtual disks, the ability to restore a VM to a different ESXi host and support for Windows and Linux VMs.
Derek Jones, MD of Synaxon UK, said: “With server and storage virtualisation now seeing high levels of penetration even amongst SMBs, and capacity requirements still growing, there is a pressing need for high quality backup solutions for virtual and physical systems that both resellers and their customers can rely upon completely.
Commenting on behalf of NetJapan, Caroline Coste, UK sales manager, added: “With an established presence in the UK channel, Synaxon will help us expose our solutions and communicate our unique value proposition to prospective partners and their customers. With this agreement, NetJapan is taking a big step to becoming established as a key player in the UK market for backup and restore solutions.”
Founded in 1996, NetJapan is a privately held company with headquarters based in Tokyo.
