Owner Steve Matthews talks about expanding workshop space and giving iPad lessons to 92-year-old customers…

Who are your customers?

Our customers range from a local private school, SME and very small businesses through to end users.

Our end users range from the young to the old. Our oldest customer is 92 – we are currently giving her iPad lessons.

How has business been?

This year has been a good year for business and we have broken some records. We had our best April and May since 2005 and we have improved on figures from August last year.

We get most of our customers through word of mouth and referral, which shows how we provide a good reliable service.

What is coming up for you over the next year?

We are looking to increase our workshop space. We repair well over 1,000 computers a year in our 14 bay workshop and are always up against the space issue, but we are now looking to re-allocate about 15ft of our retail space – allowing us to have much more workshop space than before.

What are the benefits of trade organisations like Synaxon?

Trade organisations like Synaxon can help us reduce our costs and have a larger variety of products than our current suppliers.
