Symantec appoints Keith Bird as VP and MD for Northern Europe

Symantec has named industry veteran Keith Bird as vice president and managing director for Northern Europe with responsibility for UK, Ireland and the Nordic region.

Bird will play a key role for Symantec in driving business growth across the region and brings industry experience spanning 30 years in general management, business development and sales leadership.

“I am delighted to join Symantec at this exciting moment,” said Bird. “There is no better time than now for the company to strengthen and grow its presence, and I look forward to expanding on our relationships with our partners and our customers in the UK, Ireland and Nordics."

The news comes after Symantec announced its plans to separate into two publicly traded companies.
