Far Cry 3 makes it to the top of the Steam charts, beating off some fierce competition.
CS: GO has a 50 per cent discount and popular titles Portal 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 currently both have a massive 75 per cent off on the Steam store, but all these impressive sales could not beat Far Cry 3 to the top spot.
The open-world FPS has crawled up to first place from its ninth position last week, despite being one of only a few titles in the charts without any money off.
Released on November 29th, Far Cry 3 is developed by Ubisoft and is set on a mysterious island.
