The Sony SmartWatch 2 UK release date has been listed on a reseller website.
Clove Technology’s product listing page states that first stock will be due in the UK during the week commencing September 9th, 2013.
The site previously listed the UK launch date for the SmartWatch 2 as July 15th, however as of this morning this has been updated.
"At all times we provide the most accurate information we can based on data we are supplied. It has transpired that the date of July 15th given by Sony’s distribution arm was incorrect," read a statement.
"We are very sorry. It was never our intention to mislead you on the release date. If you have placed an order with us already, your order will be held until launch and dispatched upon launch unless we hear otherwise."
The Sony SmartWatch 2 follows on from the original SmartWatch, and will be priced at around £120. It can connect to a Sony smartphone via Bluetooth and let the user receive notifications, control music, see who’s calling and more. When a call comes through, the SmartWatch vibrates.
It can also be paired with an Near Field Communications (NFC) phone by touching the two devices together.
Sony also claims the SmartWatch 2 can "take the rain", making it ideal for joggers.
