Sony's Google TV comes with an astonishingly complicated controller, a new television advert appears to suggest.
According to Engadget, the ad for the upcoming device appeared on ABC Nightline in a Google TV special. With it were images of the controller, which incorporates a QWERTY keyboard with channel and media control buttons, which TechCrunch later said looked like a "ten thousand button nightmare."
However, opinion appears to be divided on whether the comprehensive controller for Google's service, which aims to bring internet media to the television, should be more streamlined.
Engadget said the controller had "everything you'd need to rock the web and video all at once" and said that the launch date of October the 12th appeared "even more painfully far away."
