Smithie UK has added Akitio’s storage range to its portfolio of products.
Akitio has recently reached the UK and the distributor will now be responsible for some of the company’s storage range.
Among the new arrivals to the UK include the Palm Raid model and the Thunder Dock, which allows users to connect USB 3, eSATA and FireWire devices.
Shane Hilden, MD at Smithie UK, said: “We are very excited to introduce Akitio into the UK.
“This product range allows Mac users to significantly upgrade their machines as desired, drastically enhancing their experience.”
Other products available from Smithie include the Neutrino Thunder Duo, Neutrino Thunder D3, Neutrino Thunderbolt Edition, Palm RAID (2Bay w/ tethered Thunderbolt cable) and the Thunder Dock Connect.
