Computers Unlimited, Midwich, Kaspersky, VIP Computers, Softcat and Kelway have all made their way into this year’s Top Track 250.

Compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each October, the Top Track 250 league table ranks Britain’s mid-market growth private companies with the biggest sales.

VIP Group, consisting of VIP Computers, CMS Computers, Ergo Computing UK Limited and VIP Miami LLC, was included in the list for the fourth consecutive year.

The 2014 update saw the VIP Group climb 26 places to 146th on the list with sales of £204.7 million, a year-on-year increase of £24.6 million, whilst profit figures were announced at £2.3 million.

VIP Group Finance Director Mike Taylor said: “It is a fantastic accolade to be ranked alongside some of Britain’s biggest household names and most successful companies.

IT service provider Kelway made it to number 20 in the chart, while internet security software firm Kaspersky reached number 44.

IT reseller Softcat ranked 52nd in the list, and distributor Midwich came in at number 115.

Computers Unlimited’s FY14 sales growth, resulting in profits almost tripling year-on-year, has seen the distributor enter the list at 239.

James Sanson, Computers Unlimited’s CEO, commented: “This recognition caps an exceptional year for CU. We’ve successfully strengthened our product portfolio, sales channels and logistics capabilities across Europe, and have even more ambitious targets as we move into 2015 – our 30th anniversary year.”
