320GB drive works on both PC and Mac

Seagate GoFlex Slim is world’s thinnest external drive

Storage giant Seagate has introduced the GoFlex Slim external hard drive which the firm says is the world’s slimmst high-performance drive.

Around the thickness of a number 2 pencil, the 320GB 7200RPM drive is armed with a USB 3.0 port and comes with backup software with encryption functionality. 

Seagate’s Dashboard management tool provides a handy means to manage backups and file encryption as well as providing an easy way to view available drive capacity.

The GoFlex Slim also has an NTFS driver for Mac pre-loaded onto the drive making it drive interchangable between Mac and PC computers. 

Seagate is offering the GoFlex Slim on the firm’s web store for $99.99.
