Sapphire chooses Micro-P to broaden UK channel reach

Distributor also launches new hosted VoIP solution

AMD graphics card manufacturer Sapphire, has appointed Micro-P as its newest, tier one UK distributor.

Micro-P will help Sapphire expand its customer reach, create market demand and drive revenue streams in the UK.

Sapphire has a ten-year production history and offers Micro-P premium gaming products ranging from mainstream to high end gaming enthusiast AMD graphics cards.

Following Micro-P’s success as the fastest growing NVIDIA distributor, the introduction of Sapphire AMD graphics will enhance product choice and variety across Micro-Ps gaming portfolio.

To celebrate the launch of Sapphire Micro-P has a number of offers including up to 9 per cent off the Sapphire HD7770 mainstream graphics card.

VoIP venture

Micro-P has also announced that it has launched a new hosted VoIP solution designed to help resellers move into both voice and hosted services.

Resellers from the IT, comms and mobile arenas with little or no experience of voice or hosted services can move quickly and easily into this fast growing area with Micro-P from July this year, using the service as either wholesale or whitelabel with no admin charges.

Rob Hendry, head of business development at Micro-P, explained: “This new hosted VoIP service will allow resellers who may be concerned about stepping into either voice or hosted solutions to go and sell this service with confidence.

“It represents huge upfront commission payments, much like traditional voice system models, with recurring revenue thereafter. Our strategy is to keep the VoIP and connectivity as simple as possible, which we’re very excited about.”
