Samsung updates Q1 Ultra

Samsung will launch a new version of its ultramobile PC , the Q1 Ultra, which will have a better spec than its predecessor and also be cheaper, reported The Inquirer.

The Q1 Ultra was unveiled at Cebit, but Samsung had kept the launch date under wraps.

The original Q1 was being sold at in the $1,300 to $2,000 price range. Samsung said that it will sell four models of the Q1 Ultra at prices ranging from $799 to $1,499.

The model has the same seven inch display, but comes with a split QWERTY keypad designed for thumb texting. It also has 802.11 wireless networking and optional HSDPA cellular connectivity.
