Samsung Smart Signage Displays target AV and IT resellers

Micro-P partners with Signagelive after seeing signage screen sales double

Distributor Micro-P has confirmed it will supply Samsung signage displays to resellers after striking a partnership with Signagelive.

It says it will bring the Samsung/Signagelive offering to the audiovisual (AV) and IT reseller channel, and drive incremental revenue beyond what is already being achieved in the AV reseller space.

Signagelive is moving towards non-PC technology in its digital signage applications, which it says drives down costs ("overall cost of ownership is 25 per cent cheaper than any other digital signage solution"), makes installation simpler and consumes less power. For example, it claims a Samsung Smart Signage Display connected to Signagelive consumes up to 50 per cent less power compared to other digital signage solutions.

Jason Cremins, founder and CEO at Signagelive, said: "The Samsung Smart Signage Displays, powered by Signagelive and available from Micro-P, provide AV and IT resellers with the first true plug and play digital signage solution which also includes live online support.
