Samsung renews Chelsea sponsorship

Hardware vendor extends contract with football club to 2013

Samsung has resigned its shirt sponsorship deal with premiership football club Chelsea, extending the partnership into the 2012/2013 season.

While the exact fee is not known, it is expected to be in excess of the current £11 million a year deal, reports Marketing Week.

Samsung's involvement with the club extends to officially providing it with consumer electronic products, such mobile phones and cameras.
