Samsung has begun shipping the Korean firm’s latest netbooks with the new generation of Intel Atom CPUs including the dual-core N550.
The 10.1-inch Samsung N350 sports the dual core 1.83GHz Atom N475 with 1GB RAM, 250Gb HD, webcam and Windows 7 Starter and is currently shipping from Dabs, Amazon and other retailers for £349.00.
Meanwhile Amazon is taking preorders for the Samsung NF210 10.1 inch netbook and while the headline proclaims the specification also has a single-core Atom N475, SammyNetbook.com confirmed with Amazon that this model is actually equipped with the dual-core 1.5GHz N550 processor in line with the information on Samsung’s web site.
The 1.25Kg Samsung NF210 netbook is loaded with a 250GB SATA hard drive, 1GB of RAM and a 10.1" WSVGA (1024 x 600), Non-Gloss, LED Back Light display, Bluetooth 3.0 and a claimed battery life of 10.7 hours.
