Samsung launches new Galaxy tablet for education

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Tab 4 Education, designed specifically for education.

The tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has a quad-core processor; 16GB of memory and a MicroSD card is also included.

The multi-window capability of the Tab 4 Education also allows two multi-window support apps to be open at once.

A front facing 1.3MP and rear-facing 3MP camera comes with Samsung’s Tab 4, as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and dual band Wi-Fi connectivity.

Graham Long, VP of business enterprise team at Samsung UK and Ireland, said: “We are really excited to launch the Tab 4 Education, which combines product innovation with our understanding of the education sector’s needs.”

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Education will be on display this week at the Bett show 2015.

This news comes after Samsung released its first £60 Tizen phone.

The phone has been launched in India for now and features a 3.1MP camera, 4GB of storage and 768GB of RAM.
