Galaxy Tab S range starts at £319

Samsung Galaxy Tab S available in UK from July

Samsung has announced the UK launch date of its latest tablet: the Galaxy Tab S.

The tablet will be available to buy in UK stores from Friday, July 4th.

Customers will be able to purchase the Galaxy Tab S from selected online and High Street retailers including John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse and Dixons Group, as well as the Samsung Experience Stores and the Samsung Store at Westfield Stratford City.

The Galaxy Tab S comes with a WQXGA (2560×1600, 16:10) Super AMOLED display, either an Exynos 5 Octa or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Android KitKat 4.4, 8MP rear facing camera and 2.1MP front facing camera.

The 8.4-inch Wi-Fi version is priced at £319, and the 10.5-inch Wi-Fi version is priced at £399.
