Samsung SSD has named three UK distribution partners for the new range of 840 EVO Solid State Drives.
The range is available now and is being supplied by Micro-P, M2M and Smithie UK direct to the trade.
The new Samsung SSD 840 EVO line-up makes use of the compact 10-nanometer class 128GB high-performance NAND flash memory, which Samsung began mass producing in April.
The Samsung SSD EVO line-up is available in five capacities: 120GB, 250GB, 500GB, 750GB, and 1TB. Samsung claims it has "significantly narrowed the capacity-induced differences in performance", which it adds gives consumers a broader spectrum of devices to choose from.
"With these chips and Samsung’s proprietary multi-core controller, the Samsung SSD 840 EVO achieves unrivalled value for performance with improved sequential read and write speeds," said Samsung in a statement.
UK Head of Business Development, Stefanie Sears Black, commented: "The new EVO range of SSDs are an exciting and powerful addition to an already well-established range of solids state drives in the current market.
"We are excited to announce Micro-P, M2M and Smithie UK as our tier one trade distributors of the new 840 EVO range, along with our existing 840 and 840 Pro range of SSDs."
Samsung partnered with M2M earlier this year.
