The inaugural PCR Woman of the Year award kicks off on Friday, October 17th – here’s our guide to the event including times and location.
What is it?
A new award ceremony and networking event celebrating leading women in the tech industry, following on from the success of our Top 50 Women in Tech feature earlier this year.
In the feature we highlighted some of the industry’s top female professionals from companies across the UK tech and PC industry, including distributors, vendors, retailers and the wider tech landscape.
At the event, one of them will be presented with the debut PCR Woman of the Year award. As well as honoring one particular individual, the day will also provide a valuable forum for peer to peer networking. A buffet lunch and free drinks are included in the ticket price.
Entatech is the headline partner, while Acer and CompTIA are also event partners.
When is it?
October 17th, 11.30am to 2.30pm. Arrive at 11.30am.
Where is it?
Home House, 20 Portman Square, London W1H 6LW.
Home House is a private members’ club in the heart of London, occupying a terrace of Georgian townhouses with 18th Century architecture.
How can I get there?
It’s a few minutes’ walk from the nearest tube station, Marble Arch, which is on the London Underground’s Central Line. Bond Street is also close by on the Central and Jubilee Lines.
Can men attend?
Yes. The event is open to men as well as women in the PC/tech industry.
Can I still buy a ticket?
Yes. You can book your place easily online here. Tickets are just £59 (plus VAT) per person and are open to everyone. Included is a buffet lunch and free drinks.
