PCR Woman of the Year is a new award ceremony and networking event celebrating leading women in the tech industry, following on from the success of our Top 50 Women in Tech feature earlier this year.
In the feature we highlighted some of the industry’s top female professionals from companies across the UK tech and PC industry, including distributors, vendors, retailers and the wider tech landscape. Check out who made the list here.
On Friday October 17th one of them will be presented with the debut PCR Woman of the Year award. The event takes place at Home House, a private members’ club in Portman Square in the heart of London, occupying a terrace of Georgian townhouses with 18th Century architecture.
As well as honoring one particular individual, it will also provide a valuable forum for peer to peer networking. You can book your place easily online here.
“We were blown away with the response to our original feature focusing on the leading women in tech. Floods of nominations came in, and then once we published it the support and the feedback we got was really encouraging,” said PCR publisher Andrew Wooden. “You could have once looked at this market and concluded it was heavily male dominated, so it’s important recognise the female success stories and role models within it today.
