We talk to Plantronics about what products it has in the pipeline

PCR Boot Camp Partner Spotlight: Plantronics

Ian Stevenson, head of retail sales for the UK and Ireland at Plantronics, gives us a preview of its gaming products in the pipeline and tells us why he thinks the future looks good…

How important is it to connect with customers?

At Plantronics, we believe our channel partners are the eyes and ears of the customer.

What products/services will you be promoting at the event this year?

The Plantronics Gaming portfolio is our main focus this year and we have some exciting new products launching in and around Christmas that will bring together all platforms, whether you play on console, PC or mobile. We will also have our Mobile Professional products that are designed to integrate your mobile and PC calls seamlessly across all your devices.

What should retailers look out for on your stand?

We will be running a competition where delegates have the opportunity to win one of our top of the range GameCom Commmander headsets, as well as a chance to see the complete range of products we offer.

What are your predictions for the business in 2013?

We are looking to obtain new channel partners this year to grow our presence in the consumer market, and despite the gloomy predictions for the economic climate, we are seeing unprecedented growth that we expect to continue.

What distinguishes you from your competitors?

As a specialist headset manufacturer, we have the expertise and knowledge to deliver industry leading products and solutions to the consumer that, we believe, no other brand can offer.

What are you looking forward to most at Boot Camp?

This is our first Boot Camp so we are most looking forward to understanding where our opportunities within the channel are likely to come from and gain some market insight.
