Popular event will return to the Brewery in May next year

PCR Boot Camp 2014 date set

The 2014 PCR Retail Boot Camp will take place on Wednesday May 21st, 2014, returning to the Brewery in London.

And you can register you interest in attending now by emailing pcrbootcamp@intentmedia.co.uk

The event expanded on its 2011 debut this year, with 250 PC and IT dealers in attendance for the day-long conference and expo.

The conference included a welcome speech by Microsoft’s OEM distribution and reseller sales manager Nicola Young, advice from Linkdex’s John Straw on how to get to the top of Google Search, digital marketing advice from McCormack & Morrison’s Pete McCormack, panel sessions on various ways to improve a retailers business, and a keynote from Stephen Robertson, the former director general of the British Retail Consortium.

The expo in the afternoon saw exhibitors showing off some of their latest products, as well as a number of break out sessions and training sessions.

In the evening, a drinks reception and more networking took place just opposite the venue – where each attending retailer was given a free wireless Bluetooth Jabra speaker as part of a gift bag.

PCR managing editor Andrew Wooden said: “We had another successful event, and the attendees got a lot out of it – both in terms of advice and education in the conference and networking with peers and potential business partners.

“The venue location is ideal for Boot Camp, so we’re glad to say we’ll be returning there next year.”
