Players of the PC version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam have completed a task well ahead of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 communities, successfully unlocking the Operation Hastings map while the Xbox 360 runners-up were barely past the one-third mark.

Following the release of the Vietnam expansion for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, DICE unveiled community challenges that required the respective communities to accomplish 69 million collective team actions.

Actions included healing and reviving, spotting and repairing vehicles. Once the 69 million point was reached, game authors DICE would unlock a new Operation Hastings multiplayer map. The PC gaming community took just eight days to reach the goal while neither the Xbox 360 nor PS3 communities have yet unlocked the map.

A day later, the Xbox 360 community at time of writing was on 38.5 million team actions while the Sony PlayStation 3 gamers were on 28.5 million.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has continued to be popular with PC multiplayer gaming enthusiasts with the game currently ranked 8th in the Steam best-selling chart worldwide while the Vietnam expansion is ranked 10th.
