Online IT retailer, Ebuyer, has signed a deal with IT marketplace, Orderwork, aimed at providing further support for the retailers 1.5 million strong client database.
Under the terms of the agreement, OrderWork will source specialist engineers from its national marketplace to install products ordered from ebuyer's online store. Initially, the service will only apply to selected hardware items, however ebuyer aims to extend the deal to cover the full range of business and consumer products by the end of December.
Ebuyer's head of commercial operations, Dave Wood, said, "We wanted to offer a full end to end solution to our customers. ebuyer is dedicated to satisfying customer needs and research has shown that as digital technology becomes ubiquitous, so has the frustration surrounding installing hardware, particularly routers. We can ease that frustration by offering reasonably priced services. OrderWork's business model and values fit that of ebuyer and we look forward to working together to provide a seamless service for ebuyer customers."
