The Nvidia Shield portable gaming device – which can play Android titles or stream games from a PC – will launch in the US on July 31st.
Last month graphics card maker Nvidia delayed the launch due to a "mechanical issue". Now it’s ready to hit retail shelves in the States, though a UK or European release has not yet been confirmed.
Consumers will be able to try out the Nvidia Shield at Shield Experience Centers in select GameStop, Microcenter and Canada Computers stores in the US and Canada.
The Shielf comes with a USB cable, AC adaptor, Silver Tag and two games: Expendable Rearmed and Sonic 4 Episode II THD. The device is priced at $299 and orders currently include a free T-shirt. Carry cases and custom tags are also available.

Earlier this year Nvidia said it wouldn’t sell Shield at a loss.
