Symantec's Norton 360 All-In-One security suite continues to lead sales in our anti-virus software sales chart, a position that it has occupied since September.

The success of Norton 360 reflects a key theme that runs through this month’s sales charts – price versus performance. One of the key selling points for the security suite is its multiple install licence that allows the software to be installed on more than one PC, which can prove invaluable to the majority of households that now own more than one PC.

Acer’s Aspire 5536 looks to be one of the top selling laptops over the Christmas period. It is the entry level device among the range that was recently added to the Aspire line, while Acer’s budget brand e-Machines E525 also performs well. Both these devices have been praised for relatively solid performance at a low price point.

The survey, conducted monthly on behalf of PCR, was gathered by talking to 450 retailers from across the country, both independent and multiple.
